Visa
All foreign nationals visiting Bhutan must have a visa. A two week visa costs 20 USD. All visa applications must reach Bhutan at least 3 weeks prior to the tourists intended arrival date. We apply for visa on behalf of our clients. Full passport details must be mailed or faxed to us. Once you are in Bhutan, your visa could be extended under certain conditions. You must bring along 3 passport size photographs; the actual visa will be stamped onto your passport on arrival.
Visa clearance from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is required while buying your Drukair tickets. For all travelers entering Bhutan by Drukair, the visa clearance number will be forwarded to the concerned overseas Drukair stations, without which you will not be allowed to board the flight.
